Kinder oder Fishe?

It's amazing how quickly kids take to water. When Alexander started swim lessons a month ago, we thought he'd NEVER put his face in the water! It took a solid 4 lessons to move him on. Now, he's a station 4 in the Nitro I class (the little kids). Not only does he love to intentionally go completely under water over and over and over and over, he can float, push off from the side of the pool & swim about 6-9 feet out with his face in the water.

The 1st pic is of Aidan with his current water fascination: jumping off the side of the pool into the water. He's working on his "cannonball" which currently does not resemble a cannonball, except that he tries to pull his legs into his body. Kind of.

The 2nd pic is of Aidan & Daddy swimming/playing together with a noodle.

The 3rd pic is of Alexander, Aidan, & Daddy all playing in the water. Yes. Alexander is in the kiddie pool. He likes to walk into the kiddie pool and work his way over to the big pool (they're connected). In fact, shortly after I used up the last frame of film, he insisted on going with Daddy into the big pool.

The 4th pic is when Alexander is beginning to think about heading to the big pool. He is on the top of the steps that connect the two. Aidan is the one swimming on the right. Really! That blob is him! I swear!

These pics were taken earlier this evening. (Hooray for Walgreen's who actually still has one-hour film developing!) We were at the pool for a solid 1 1/2 hours. Alexander cried almost the whole way home as he wasn't done playing and swimming in the pool!
